Arabic Mathematics

History of Arabic Mathematics: While sometimes overlooked the Arabic/Islamic mathematicians played an important role in mathematics. The three systems of finger-reckoning arithmetic, sexagesimal system and the Indian numeral system are discussed. Book and article references are also included.
