Suggestions for Increasing Tech Usage

  • use a projector occasionally in the classroom; projectors are all available for borrowing from room 39
  • post information on a web sub-page of gatornet.chapin.edu
  • try using laptops in the classroom via the laptop delivery system 2-3 times during the year
  • try using PowerPoint and a projector to highlight important points of an upcoming lesson or topic
  • try collecting one assignment electronically and providing feedback to the girls via e-mail
  • try using inspiration, a new web site or webquest to enhance a lesson
  • try allowing the students to voice record on GatorNet on an applicable assignment
  • create a personal mailing list of your students and use e-mail to communicate with them as a group throughout the course

Part One: Classroom and Teacher Activities
