This is pic of the whole class observing how to insert the heatsink into the computer! :)




While working, We had second graders and kindergardeners come and visit us! They were very interested in our work and loved taking pictures!




Our Schedule: Day One

  • 9:00 - 10:15 : orientation and primary setup

    Step 1: Put the processor on motherboard

    Step 2: Put the heat sync fan on top of the processor

    Step 3: Install the motherboard

    Step 4: Put in the floppy drive

    Step 5: Install the Hard Drive

    Step 6: Install the CD player

  • 10:40 - 12:08: Inserting the Connecting Cables of the computer

    Step 7: Insert memory card

    Step 8: Install power supply

    Step 9: Connect cables to the motherboard

    Step 10: Attach IDE Cables to the CD then to the Floppy drives

    Step 11: Attach IDE (Ribbon Cables) to motherboard

    Step 12: Connect the cable from the power supply to the hard drive and the floopy drive

  • 12:52-2:20: Installing Final Components and Cleanup

    Step 13: Tuck away all of the cables

    Step 14: Connect cables from the heat sync fan to the motherboard

    Step 15: Insert sound card

    Step 16: Insert Ethernet card

    Step 17: Insert video card

    Step 18: Clean up!
