Directions for Summer Reading (It's as easy as 1-2-3!)

1.  Be ready to discuss the following books on the first day of school:

• Girls Entering Class Four: TBA
  
• Girls Entering Class Five:  Hoot by Carl Hiassen
  
• Girls Entering Class Six:   The True Confessions of Charlotte Doyle by Avi
  
• Girls Entering Class Seven:  Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry by Mildred D. Taylor
  

2.  Then, choose THREE more books from the lists at the bottom of this page (scroll down).  Please email bartolf@chapin.edu if you have a question about reading a book that is not on the list.

3.   Help save our  forests and the animals that live in them!  Do not print more than one page at at time.
