"The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others." --Gandhi

The purpose of this website is to encourage more students to participate in community service, be it in school or outside in the community. Even if it is only for an hour a week or once a month, your contribution can go a long way in helping others. These are a few of the many volunteer opportunities available in the tri-state area. For other locations and opportunities, look for more information in the SOS handbook located in your classroom. In addition, if you hear of volunteer opportunities that might interest other Chapin students, please let us know so we can post the information on the website. I will be continuously updating this website, so check back for more information. For further assistance and guidance in finding a volunteer opportunity that is right for you, please contact the SOS President, your SOS representative, or email SOS.
