• purpose? those teachers without cable TV in your classroom who want to show something on the projector in their classrooms that is live from a channel on television
• You can access this ONLY from inside the Chapiin building

• seeking? several Slingbox Pioneers who will help this system grow up at Chapin
• You will need to download the free player from here ... the IP number is 10.16.4.30 but please remember that you must LOGOUT when done so that others can access
• I am going to create a small group of SLINGBOX pioneers and will give you password and the procedure ... our goal is to put this to use educationally .... Steve
• disadvantages? Beware that you get some graininess and choppiness when viewing ... in fact, the quality of what you see on your screen might be LD for "low density" television ... this software is definitely "plan B" ... if you have a cable connection to your TV or projector in your classroom at Chapin, that is "plan A" ... and as you will see, there is also the limitation of ONE Slingbox user at a time
