- First Wednesday 9/13 ... "this first day of orientation started with eight girls in the VER ... we then moved to the ACR as 5-10 girls joined us and then moved to room 41 as the girls kept coming in waves ... we showed the RCX brick and everyone did a bit of building"
- Second Wednesday 9/20 ... "we started the unwrapping/unpacking of the 10 robotics kits we had purchased ... the girls were unpackaging the bags and they had to empty the bags into the two trays with buckets ... the goal was to organize the pieces ... the girls worked in teams of three ... we had six teams of three (mostly Class 4, a few Class 5, one Class 6) ... we learned about the vocabulary words of plates (flat lego pieces), the bricks, hubs, wheels, tires, studded technic bricks, belts, motors, Dragon wing, light and touch sensors ..."

- The Sixth Wednesday 10/18 ... "Robolab is the application used to program their robots. the students started to learn the Robolab software and the meaning of different Robolab icons. they wrote their first robot programs in Robolab, downloaded them to their robots and ran them to see how their robots would behave."
- The Seventh Wednesday 10/25 ... "More building!"
- The Eighth Wednesday 11/1 ... "More building!"
- The Ninth Wednesday 11/8 ... "The girls took apart their robots, formed new groups, and began building a new robot."
