These links are password protected to allow just the girls from Class of 2010 or Class of 2011 or Faculty ... some of us who are ice cream fans have nicknamed this level of password protection on our Web site "strawberry" to distinguish it from "vanilla" (totally public) or "chocolate" (such as the c----n login and w---l password that all Chapin students and parents know)
  • Please follow directions!
  • Please do NOT volunteer unless you realistically can follow all the rules and guidelines below.
  • If interested, please copy and paste the rules below and send to me ... putting your initials in each ( ) and indicating section __. Mr. Bergen

  2. I understand that I am responsible for the care of this laptop even though other girls can use it. I understand that "accidents might happen, but negligence must not." During the day, I can leave the laptop and the case in my locker/cubby as long as I am careful. I cannot leave it in the care of another girl while I go somewhere else. Other Class 7 or Class 8 girls will hear that they cannot take it from my locker/cubby. ( )
  3. I agree to be the scribe for Mon to Thurs of the assigned week. ( )
  4. I agree to send my notes from the day to Scribes2010 Scribes2011 either as text or as a PDF file which will then be automatically posted on the Web on the Class 8 Web page. I will try each day to include some notes or diagrams that were handwritten using the stylus. If in Class 8 using Windows journal, I will export my file as TIFF. ( )

  8. I am in section ____ of Class 7 or Class 8, i.e. X or Y or Z or W. ( )
  9. I understand that the attached file that I sent to Scribes 2010 or Scribes 2011 needs to be in this exact format using the underscore character _ (shift and dash)
    7X_NOV1_JAD.doc or 7Y_NOV2_JAD.pdf or 7Z_NOV3_JAD.doc or 7W_NOV4_JAD.pdf
    8X_DEC1_JAD.doc or 8Y_DEC2_JAD.pdf or 8Z_DEC3_JAD.tif or 8W_DEC4_JAD.rtf
