File Server Info

To connect to Private FacStaff Folders (under OS X):

1. Under the Go menu, select Connect To (or hit Apple-k)

2. In the window that comes up, type in 'servers.chapin.edu' and hit Connect.

3. Type in your name and password, and hit Connect. Jane Doe is the user in the example.[At this point, if you'd like to change your password, hit the Gear button. A menu will pull down with a Change Password button. (You can change your password anytime.)]

4. Select the sharepoint that matches your username and click OK.

5. You then have access to a folder with your name on it, completely private. To save time, you can drag this folder to the right side of your Dock - then it's just a click away, no need to go to the Go menu and the Connect To option.
